Padlet http://padlet.com/AmandaNYounger/WhatImLearning padlet is a digital bulletin board that allows users to share links, thoughts and other information. It is an excellent tool for supporting collaboration.
Songza songza.com. Songza is a free web or app based music listening program that covers a variety of genres and ages. One of the strengths of it is that it knows what day and time it is and suggests activities that you may be doing at that time on the home page, with multiple genres and playlists being connected to each activity. It is also possible to search by mood, genre and activity to find playlists that may be suitable to your current needs. One down side is that you have a limited number of track skips at a time and can not customize your preferences. It also requires an internet or data connection to be functional which limits where and when it can be used. I frequently use the children's and classical music selections with my students as back ground music in the classroom and want to try it in the gym.
Arts 2 Empower http://www.arts2empower.com/ Arts to empower is a program and philosophy for interoperating dance when working with students with exceptionalities as well as working dance into the k-12 academic classroom. It focuses on having students build connections and communicate through dance. Founded my Ronelle Roode-Brothers, my long time teacher, mentor and friend, on the belief that all students can dance and should have the opportunity to dance.
